Week of April 17-21
This week you will be working on animal paintings. You may choose a pet dog or cat or maybe something more exotic like a rhino. The concept focus will be the Color Wheel and the following color families; primary, secondary, warm, cool, neutral, analogous, monochromatic, and complementary.
April 19th- Today you will make a Simplified sketch of your animal, filling the paper. The animal must touch at least 2 sides of your paper. Next, you will choose a color scheme to work with for your painting.
April 24th- Before you begin painting, write your color scheme on the back of your paper and list the colors (or some of them) you will be using. Choose group for Google Slide presentation. I will share the Pop Art presentation today with students who choose that group.
